About Alissa
Alissa Hunnicutt is endorsed by Ohana Ukuleles and PHD Strings. Her newly-formed children’s music band, PuppetSnaps, has played the LA International Ukulele Festival and Kids Club at Santa Monica Place. PuppetSnaps is an interactive, singalong, play along, dance along, clap along, music concert with puppetry and ukulele for kids and their grownups!
An accomplished puppeteer, Alissa has trained in a wide variety of puppetry styles. She’s performed at The National Puppetry Conference at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Great Small Works’ International Toy Theater Festival, on the CBS series Life in Pieces, and as “Maggie” in Slugs and Bugs. She is currently a student in the Academy of the Wooden Puppet and incorporating puppets she’s carved into her performances.
Alissa Hunnicutt holds a Bachelor of Music from The University of Iowa, and a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music in vocal performance.
